Iceland has been at the top of my bucket list since I saw “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”. In early winter, a friend returned from her Icelandic honeymoon with an SD card full of the tiny but magnificent country’s idyllic colorful villages, bright aqua glaciers, mossy fields, and snow-dusted mountains. She shared her photos with me and I painted my dream vacation, living vicariously until the day I can travel there myself.
