This collection of paintings grew out of the landscapes I inhabited, even if for a fleeting moment that took my breath away. While painting this collection, I was flooded with memories of my travels to Yosemite, Muir Woods, and my cross country road trip to the Pacific Northwest. Each painting captures a moment when nature filled me with a resurgence of gratitude and wonder.
As I think about the business I am building, I want my choices to reflect this same vision of a brighter world that is shared and appreciated. We are not free and we cannot share this gorgeous earth until ALL of us are free. Matter is the minimum. Black lives are beautiful, resilient, valuable, and deserve dignity. Any profit I earn from this collection will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative and Nurturing Roots Farm in Seattle, WA.
