"Split Rocks"
Original Painting
11” x 14” framed
Along Rialto Beach, you’ll find a unique sea stack called Split Rocks. The surrounding cliffs and these twin jagged pillars emerge from the waves covered in chartreuse moss that transitions into a gorgeous shade of deep turquoise below the saltwater. Fog meanders on the rocky shore and hovers on the water’s surface allowing beams of sunlight burst through.
Materials: pumice gesso, acrylic, gouache, and graphite on archival paper
